MLK Day of Service at the New Jersey School of Conservation (NJSOC)

Join Us for our MLK Day of Service!
The NJ School of Conservation is inviting you to join us on MLK Day where we’ll honor Dr. King’s legacy by making a positive impact in our community.
Tasks for the day may include outdoor projects like firewood prep, invasive plant removal or you can work indoors on a painting project. Our archivist will be busy organizing our archives with our Volunteer Archive Team. We will also be collecting non-perishable items for the Sussex County food bank.
Come prepared to work outdoors with sturdy shoes, warm clothing that can get dirty and an adventurous spirit. All tools and a delicious lunch will be provided by NJSOC.
In the event of inclement weather, volunteers will be notified of cancellation by 7am on January 19th.
Please register in EventBrite by Friday January 16, 2026.
