NJSOC was back action on Saturday in partnership with the National Association for Search and Rescue!
John Rovetto, Mountain Travel and Rescue adviser for the NJ region of the National Ski Patrol, a NY State Licensed guide, a member of New Jersey Search & Rescue and a NY/NJ Trail conference trail maintainer & Sawyer, shared the knowledge needed to improve outdoor navigation skills. BIG thank you to John and his crew for leading such an informative and fun Hiking Navigation program. Map and compass techniques were followed by an invigorating hike to Sunrise Mountain.
