Jennifer Sakoutis

Jennifer Sakoutis earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Montclair State University and began her career at Southern Regional School District as a Physical Education/Health teacher and facilitator of Project Adventure. Guided by her belief in experiential learning, She continued her studies at the Princeton-Blairstown Center and UNH’s Live, Learn & Teach program, later earning her Master’s degree from Gratz College with a focus on authentic assessment.

Her mission statement has always been to work in the community she calls home, a mission she fulfilled while raising twins and teaching at the Colts Neck School District (K–8). Today, she is honored to continue that journey at the NJ School of Conservation, where experiential, science-based education inspires curiosity, growth, and stewardship of the natural world.
