Andrew Marancik holds a Master of Arts in Physics Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry/Physics, supplemented by graduate-level coursework in diverse scientific disciplines. Andrew is a dedicated science educator with over 25 years of experience teaching Physics, Chemistry, and Environmental Science.
He is currently serving as adjunct faculty at Sussex County Community College, where he teaches Chemistry and Optics. He is also working as an educator at the Sterling Hill Mining Museum. Previous to working in the education field, he worked as a technician manufacturing superconductor magnets for fusion reactors, and the manufacture of specialty fiber-optics.
As an educator he developed programming for The Big History Project, Project Quest, and extra curricular experiences at the Wallkill Wildlife Refuge. He has also volunteered as Water Safety Ambassador for the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
