Friends –
We hope you are enjoying your winter. It has been a relatively mild one so far. Very little snow and no ice to skate on (yet!). Despite that, the Friends have decided to hold a winter weekend at SOC. We are planning to gather on Saturday, February 22 at 11 a.m. at Kittatinny Hall. Depending on conditions, we will either go for a hike, cross country ski, snow shoe, or ice skate. Worse case scenerio, we will build a fire in Kittatinny and have a music jam and roast marshmallows.
Come for the day or, if you want, we can make arrangements for accommodations for you to stay overnight. There is no cost to come and play for the day, and we can provide skis or snowshoes if we’re lucky enough to have snow. The overnight fee is $17 per person. Either way, you’ll need to bring all your own food (we have a refrigerator). The friends will provide beverages such as coffee, tea, hot chocolate. Please RSVP so we know who is coming; RSVP as soon as possible if you want to stay overnight, since we will need to make reservations.
If you are staying overnight, please register with one of the below payment buttons. They are preset to $17—if you are registering more than one person, repeat using the button, or contact us directly: info@njsoc.org
Hope to see you on February 22. Ands thanks for being a Friend.
